A Personal Update — And a New Chapter for PrismPix
There’s something beautifully symbolic about photography.
We freeze moments that would otherwise pass in a blink—small details, fleeting expressions, pieces of life that deserve to be remembered. As photographers, we spend so much time preserving other people’s stories that sometimes we forget we’re living our own.
It’s been a while since I’ve been present here at PrismPix, and I wanted to share why.
Over the past several months, I stepped away due to deeply personal circumstances involving someone displaying obsessive behaviour towards me. It was an incredibly difficult period that forced me to become very protective of my private life, my wellbeing, and the privacy and safety of my clients.
For a long time, survival came before creativity.
I’m grateful to say that chapter is now behind me.
After five long months, I can finally say I feel safe again. Free. Stronger. Clearer. More grounded.
And with that freedom has come reflection.
Life, of course, doesn’t pause while we heal. It keeps moving—sometimes chaotically, sometimes beautifully, often both at once.
During this time, home renovations have been in full swing (anyone who has lived through renovations knows exactly how wild that journey can be!), and alongside the dust, paint samples, and endless decision-making… I’ve also been planning something deeply special.
My wedding.
As someone behind the camera, choosing a photographer for your own wedding feels strangely vulnerable. When you spend your career observing detail, emotion, composition, and storytelling, your standards become… very high.
After carefully vetting many photographers, I’ve finally found my person—the incredible woman I trust to capture one of the most meaningful days of my life.
And I cannot wait.
That process reminded me of something important: photography isn’t just about beautiful images.
It’s about trust.
It’s about feeling safe enough to be seen.
It’s about allowing someone to witness your moments and preserve them with care.
That belief has always been at the heart of PrismPix, but this experience has deepened it even further.
I understand now, more than ever, how important safety, trust, and genuine connection are between photographer and client.
So, with a full heart, I’m excited to say:
PrismPix is officially reopening bookings.
And I’m returning with renewed passion, fresh perspective, and more creative fire than ever.
Bigger. Better. Stronger.
I’m incredibly excited to work with Clients, brands, creators, makers, and small businesses again—helping bring your products and stories to life through thoughtful, impactful imagery.
Thank you to everyone who showed patience, kindness, and support during my absence.
Your messages, encouragement, and belief in my work meant more than words can express.
This next chapter feels different.
It feels intentional.
It feels powerful.
And it feels like coming home.
Here’s to new beginnings, beautiful stories, and capturing what matters most.
I can’t wait to create with you.
With love,
PrismPix
